Add Microsoft Authenticator as a sign-in method
If you get an SMS text when you sign in and have not set up Microsoft Authenticator, the instructions below will guide you through the complete process of setting up Microsoft Authenticator. Open a private or incognito window in your browser so that it does not try to use the saved credentials Copy and paste this link into your browser to go to this site: https://aka.ms/mfasetup Login with your accelerate credentials. On the Security info screen, click on Add sign-in method When the Add a sign-in method window appears, click on Microsoft Authenticator. At this point, if you have not already downloaded Microsoft Authenticator to your smartphone, please do so and then click the Next button. Note the information below and click Next and then to the following steps showing screenshots from iOS. Android screens may vary slightly. On your smartphone, open Microsoft Authenticator and make sure you have allowed Microsoft Authenticator to send notifications. Then, click Add Account or the plus sign in the upper right corner and choose Work or school account. Once you click on Work or school account, click on Scan QR Code as shown. The camera should activate to allow scanning of the QR code that should be on your computer screen. The smartphone may ask you to allow Microsoft Authenticator to access your camera. Please allow this and then aim the camera at the QR code on your computer screen. iOS Smartphone screen – line up the QR code displayed on the computer screen in the box and it should scan automatically: Computer screen: After scanning the QR code on your smartphone, click Next. If the QR code is scanned successfully, you will see the entry for this account in your Microsoft Authenticator smartphone app and a notification will be sent to Microsoft Authenticator to test your app. Back on the computer, you will be see the details of the number that must be entered in Microsoft Authenticator on your smartphone. Enter the number on your smartphone and tap Yes to complete the test. Back on your computer, you should see that the notification has been approved. Click Next. The process is now complete. Once you click Done, you will be return to the Security Info screen. On that screen, make sure Microsoft Authenticator is set as your default sign-in method: If it is not, do the following: Click change and choose "App based authentication - notification" as the default method and then click OK to save. Fix Teams Meeting missing from Outlook
If the option to create a new Teams meeting is missing in your Outlook calendar, check to make sure the Teams Add-in is enabled At the top of the Outlook screen, choose the File tab Near the bottom left, choose Options In Outlook options, on the left hand menu, choose Add-Ins Down at the bottom of Add-Ins, click Go next to Manage COM Add-ins Make sure Microsoft Teams Meeting Add-In for Microsoft Office is checked. If it is already checked, uncheck it and click OK and then go back into the Add-Ins Go option and check it to reactivate it and click OK to recycle it. Make Microsoft Authenticator your default sign-in method
Microsoft Authenticator should be your default sign-in method for all Microsoft and VPN logins. If it is not, you can do the following to change it to the default sign-in method if you already have Microsoft Authenticator set up but just don't have it set as the default sign-in method: Open a private or incognito window in your browser so that it does not try to use the saved credentials Copy and paste this link into your browser to go to this site: https://aka.ms/mfasetup Login On the screen below, if you any method other than "App based authentication - notification" by where it says change, click change and choose "App based authentication - notification" as the default method and then click OK to save. Remove Docked Window Tab in Cisco Jabber
If you want to remove the tab on the right-side of your screen in Cisco Jabber, you can go to View and uncheck Show Docked Window.

Remote Worker VPN Connection Issues
If you are having issues connecting to VPN that are not password related, you can try the following process to refresh your home network: Power off the laptop Power off your home network equipment - router, modem, etc. Power the home network equipment back on Once the home network is back up, power on the laptop. Login and try connecting to vpn02 again. Then, connect to the other sites as needed. If the VPN will not accept your password and you need a password reset, contact ishelpdesk@accelerate360.com for assistance.
